Our student-athletes train on-snow at Okemo Mountain Resort just minutes from our school building in Ludlow, Vermont.

Our student-athletes train on-snow at Okemo Mountain Resort just minutes from our school building. We have a dedicated trail, which is serviced by a triple lift, providing our student-athletes the opportunity for productive training sessions with little time spent waiting in line or riding lifts. Okemo Mountain also generously provides us with other trails whenever needed, such as for full length SG training or simply variety of terrain. The Okemo Mountain parks and pipe also offer world class training to snowboard and freeski student-athletes. Our student-athletes also utilize daily our new private fitness facility in Ludlow for dryland conditioning. Learn more about facilities and features specific to each snow sport on their individual program pages, Alpine, Freestyle, and Snowboarding

Academic building

Nestled in the picturesque Vermont ski town of Ludlow, our academic building is a cozy 19th century inn. We have an extremely low student to teacher ratio of 2:1, so each teacher only has 2 students in every class. The inn rooms make for an intimate and comfortable learning environment that encourage discussion and questions. This close student and teacher interaction allows for lots of personalized attention and creates an excellent environment for academic growth. Teachers have the ability to move through material at the student's own pace, making sure the student thoroughly comprehends the information before moving onto the next topic.

Dry Land Training

The Fitness Facility is available to all OMS and Okemo athletes throughout the school year. Weekend training groups can meet on days that are not ideal for on snow training due to inclement weather. Coaches offer year-round strength and conditioning training programs which sets up our athletes for even greater success on snow. Okemo Mountain School's new 5,200 square foot facility adjacent to our current building houses state of the art fitness and weight training equipment, a yoga studio, coaches’ and trainer’s offices, athlete locker rooms and the in-ground trampoline. We now have an off-snow training facility that is on par with the amazing access we have to on-hill training facilities at Okemo Mountain. Our student-athletes work extremely hard all year long- on the hill, in the classroom and in the gym. We are excited to be able to provide a fitness facility to help them maximize their results and achieve their goals.
