Erica Mueller Erica was a graduate of OMS in 1999. In 2003, she made the US Snowboard Team and traveled to compete in many World Cup and World Championship Races throughout 2010. Throughout Erica’s time snowboarding, she went a non-traditional school route by enrolling in Champlain College’s online program. When snowboarding ended, Erica began working at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, in the family business. Erica’s passion is all about the outdoors, summer or winter. She loves what the mountain lifestyle has to teach and how it inspires her. Snowboarding was her avenue to that. That is why she wants to serve on the OMS board, in hopes of inspiring that passion of the outdoors and sports in other kids and to teach them important life lessons. She looks forward to continuing the Okemo connection to the school and to being great partners in the pursuits to each of our missions.

Eb Kinney I am Eb Kinney and had the pleasure of becoming a board member this year. I began my education at Burr Burton Academy in Manchester, Vermont. After high school, I attended Ohio Diesel Technical Institute in Cleveland, Ohio. That lead to a job in Boston, Massachusetts for 3 years, and then back to Vermont in 1985, where I worked for Ascutney Mountain for 5 years. In 1990 I had the privilege of starting my career at Okemo Mountain Resort. During my time at Okemo I’ve worked in multiple positions and now work as the Senior Director of Mountain Operations. The Okemo Mountain School is known for academics and I believe education is one of the fundamental goals of life. The school is known for instilling the passion of the ski industry into today’s students, while still promoting a great education. I look forward to being involved in the continued success of OMS and promote the students passion for skiing and riding. I have always had a passion for the outdoors. My father introduced me to both hunting and making maple syrup at a young age. I still enjoy hunting and hiking through the woods. In 1992, with the help of my family we started our own sugaring operation. We have slowly grown our operation and presently tap 3,600. I live in Brownsville with my wife of 33 years, where we raised three children.

Vicky Yurkerwich Vicki and her husband Dave have four children, all of whom attended OMS. Their first was a part of OMS in the very beginning when there were only 8 students. Even though their kids are grown, they have remained loyal to Okemo and frequent their home on the mountain. They now have 5 grandchildren, some of which are starting the Hopefuls program! Vicki feels that OMS allowed her children to develop their academic and athletic skills, which helped prepare them for their futures.
