Hana Saydek

Assistant U14 Coach and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach

Hana is an OMS and GMVS alum. She continued on to Northeastern University and graduated this past May with a B.S. in Health Sciences on a pre-med track. During Hana’s freshman year she helped the University’s ski team qualify for USCSA Nationals; the first time a team from their division had qualified in over thirty years. She left the series with both academic and athletic all-American honors.

A knee injury her sophomore year inspired her to pursue an internship in athletic training and physical therapy at Deep 2 Peak, an athletic training center on Maui. While there she became certified as a NASM personal trainer, ran individual and group workouts, supervised rehab classes and created workouts for athletes recovering from injury, assisted the physical therapist, and volunteered as an on-site medic for windsurfing competitions. For her second internship, she piloted a research project for an institute in Okinawa, Japan. During Hana’s senior year, she was off the bench and back on the ski team, ending her collegiate racing career with one more trip to Nationals. Hana is also certified as an EMT.
