We are happy to announce the return of our Summer On-Snow Alpine Fundamentals Camp at Mount Hood! We will travel to Oregon to train on Mount Hood’s Palmer Glacier – one of the most popular summer training venues in the world.
This on-snow summer camp provides an intense training period with a comprehensive progression with video analysis. The athletes will stay with coaches in accommodations in Government Camp, Oregon right at the base of Mount Hood and the Timberline Ski Area.
The athletes will enjoy 10 days on snow (weather permitting), a variety of fun conditioning activities, as well as a day off adventure! Fundamentals and skill development will be the main focus for all disciplines, as this camp will be the beginning of pre-season training for 2026-2027. Athletes will train both both SL and GS.
We will fly as a group to Portland, OR (departure airport TBD). The cost of the camp will be all inclusive from the time of arrival in Oregon — ground transportation, food, lodging, coaching, lift tickets, and group activity costs will all be included. A block of seats will be reserved on the same flight as the coaches, but note that the cost of air travel is not included in the price of the camp. It is the athlete's family's responsibility to complete booking on this flight via OMS's travel agency or make other arrangements that have a similar arrival time in Portland, OR. Flight information will be sent to registered campers.
Space is limited on this trip and we expect this camp to fill fast! Registrations and deposits are due by April 30th! Estimated cost is $5,250 (excluding airfare); however, the final cost is TBD based on number of campers and final cost of accommodations and travel arrangements.
